Michelle S. Morris is a storyteller driven by characters, providing a glimpse into motivation, inspiration, and the power of resilience and connection. She writes novels, women’s fiction, and thrillers. Her books abound with strong women, a diversity of characters, multi-generational family – both blood and chosen – timely issues, and timeless topics. She’s had many careers, initially in politics – first job at the White House – and as a journalist, then as a corporate communications executive with global companies, before deciding to write novels full-time. Born in rural northeastern Michigan, she has lived most of her adult life up and down the East Coast from DC to Connecticut, with a few years in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a magical year in England at the University of Sussex. She’s a graduate of Albion College with a bachelor’s in English and Political Science, as well as a public service concentration from the President Gerald R. Ford Institute for Public Service. Michelle’s late husband was an Irish musician from Dublin, Ireland, and they have triplets who she adores but who frustrate her as a competitive sport. She enjoys travel, reading, sailing, good conversation, cooking, exceptional breakfast tea, storytelling lyrics, Impressionist paintings, and finding inspiration in the landscape, people, and world around her. Having traversed the globe, she’s learned to embrace her inner nomad and considers Northern Michigan and Southeastern Connecticut home. Michelle's contact: FB: Michelle S.
