It’s time for FossilFriday! Get to know Glossotherium robustum, or the “tongue beast.” It roamed the pampas of Argentina, a grassland region, ~30,000 years ago during the Pleistocene. As a mylodont sloth, it had more complex teeth than those of other groups of ground sloths.
