Born OnThisDay in 1911, Robert Johnson was a master of the Mississippi Delta blues style. His work as a songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist produced some of the blues' best music and influenced artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones.
