Dugongs are marine mammals that inhabit the coastal waters of some 40 countries throughout the Indo-West Pacific. They move about frequently as they are dependent on seagrass communities for subsistence. This massive dugong herd is migrating off the coast of Qatar in search of new foraging grounds.
