After a gestation period of 2-3 months, a female ocelot gives birth to a litter of 1-3 kittens. They stay with their mother for up to 2 years in the wild. Afterwards, they will establish their own home ranges. In 2019, the Albuquerque Biopark in New Mexico welcomed their first ever ocelot kittens.
