What to see in Tallinn in two days
The origins of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, date back to the 13th century. It developed as a major centre of the Hanseatic League, the organization founded by German merchant communities in northern Germany and abroad to protect their trading interests. The Old Town of Tallinn was inscribed in UNESCO World heritage list in 1997. Today Tallinn is the biggest city of Estonia, with more than 440 000 inhabitants.
