Free Ditch The Sugar ChallengeSUGAR… I have a love-hate relationship with sugar. I mean, I love chocolate…really love it. Cookies, and brownies, and cakes are my weakness. But I also hate sugar for the way it makes me feel. It’s so addictive! And I can’t stand the sugar crashes after the spikes. It’s always been a crazy cycle for me: cutting back on sugar so I can feel better and then giving in to temptation and going overboard. After starting a Keto diet, I began really researching the effects of carbs, and therefore sugar, on the human body. It is a common misconception that the culprit of our health issues is fat, or even salt. The issue is sugar! It is amazing what happens to your body and mind when you eliminate sugar from your diet. I can not even begin to tell you how much better I feel now that my diet doesn’t contain sugar. I do follow a modified Ketogenic diet, but I am not super strict.
