State Highway Administration said: At 2:23 pm, there was a crash involving tractor trailer loaded with 20,000 pounds of cheese balls. This was at I-495 OL between MD 355 and MD 187. We have a sand truck there to help clean up the scene. At this time, we have two right lanes closed.
Baltimore Police arrest 13-year-old boy for murder, attempted murderBALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 13-year-old boy faces murder and attempted murder charges after he shot two people during an attempted robbery last week, according to Baltimore City Police. Officers werecalled to investigate a "Shot Spotter" alert last Friday, Dec. 11. Officers found Chad Michael Jordan in the 1800 block of Cole Street. According to police, Jordan and another person were in South Baltimore to buy illegal drugs. The 13-year-old boy tried to rob them at gunpoint, according to authorities.
Actor Carol Arthur DeLuise, widow of Dom DeLuise, dies at 85LOS ANGELES (AP) — Carol Arthur DeLuise, an actor who appeared in several Mel Brooks films and was the widow of Dom DeLuise, has died. She was 85. A family statement said DeLuise died Sunday in Los Angeles after an 11-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. One of her most memorable roles was in Brooks' "Blazing Saddles," as Harriet Johnson, a schoolmarm who is among the residents of a Western town offended when a Black sheriff is appointed.

Kool & the Gang co-founder Ronald 'Khalis' Bell dies at 68LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ronald “Khalis” Bell, a co-founder, singer and producer of the group Kool & the Gang, has died. He was 68. Bell died at his home in the U. S. Virgin Islands Wednesday morning with his wife by his side, publicist Sujata Murthy said. The cause of death has not been released. Kool & the Gang grew from jazz roots in the 1960s to become one of the major groups of the 1970s, blending jazz, funk, R&B and pop. After a brief downturn, the group enjoyed a return to stardom in the ’80s.

Tom Seaver, heart and mighty arm of Miracle Mets, dies at 75NEW YORK (AP) -- Tom Seaver, the galvanizing leader of the Miracle Mets 1969 championship team and a pitcher who personified the rise of expansion teams during an era of radical change for baseball, has died. He was 75. The Hall of Fame said Wednesday night that Seaver died Monday from complications of Lewy body dementia and COVID-19. Seaver spent his final years in Calistoga, California.

The blast was felt as far as several miles away, and leveled three rowhomes on Labyrinth Road behind the Reisterstown Plaza complex, just west of Reisterstown Road. Officials say now say 7 people have been taken to hospitals and 1 woman has been pronounced dead. Residents were seen cheering as one woman was pulled from the rubble.
