This deluxe boxed set contains the complete Bestselling Shadow World Trilogy (Uniquely Unwelcome, Blood Burdens, and Sacrifice: A New Dawn). Enjoy the thrill as power is pushed to its limit, hearts are broken, and some pay the ultimate price as Racquel fights an ancient evil that is determined to make the Earth bleed, and Racquel with it. The box set includes: Uniquely Unwelcome The Shadow World Volume 1 Racquel is unique. The bloodlines of four of the most powerful beings in the Shadow World are intertwined within her DNA. She has never craved attention. She just wants to be able to live as normal life as she can. But she's about to find that even though she's uniquely unwelcome wherever she goes, her abilities also make her the best chance the Shadow World has to stop a threat to all the Shadow races. Once arriving home, Racquel finds that greater evils exist and that the person she cares for most in this world, her half-sister Addie, has been kidnapped along with other Shadow World beings. Racquel finds herself facing horrible odds with those who would rather see her dead than alive. As her journey continues, Racquel learns more about herself, what she is capable of, and that not every being looks at her as an abomination. Coy, a human captive that Racquel saves from the Vampires, starts showing kindness toward her. Racquel tries putting distance between her and the human boy but as they spend more time together it becomes harder and harder for Racquel to fight the affection she wants and needs. But will Coy's friendship and her new found discoveries be enough to help Racquel unravel the strangest mystery that has ever plagued the Shadow World? Blood Burdens The Shadow World Trilogy Volume 2 As someone with four Shadow bloodlines, Racquel is uniquely unwelcome even among her fellow werewolves, shape-shifters, vampires, and witches. Growing up, she was bullied and tormented for being a “hybrid,” a condition frowned upon by Shadow society. After saving her sister and a number of other kidnapped Shadows from a diabolical plot to create a Shadow army, many have found a new respect for Racquel, but she is far from accepted in Shadow society, and the evil is far from over. To complicate matters, Racquel now finds herself torn between two brothers. Coy is caring and has helped Racquel through her struggles, and Micah, who Racquel has only met once but who is somehow, having dream conversations with him. Racquel becomes torn between following her heart while breaking it at the same time. In the second installment of the Shadow World series, Racquel and her sister Addie face off with the Shadow leaders against a threat that could bring the world to its knees. Power will be pushed to its limit, hearts will be broken, and some will pay the ultimate price as Racquel and her group of Shadows fight against an ancient evil that is determined to make the earth bleed and Racquel with it. Sacrifice: A New Dawn The Shadow World Trilogy Book 3 Racquel was once uniquely unwelcome, an outcast in both the human and Shadow worlds. In desperation, the Shadows—the loose alliance of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Shape Shifters and Faeries—turned to Racquel for help against the sorceress Cerelia, who threatened all Shadows. Now that Racquel has protected the Shadows by defeating Cerelia, it seems like things are picking up. Racquel is ready to challenge the Shadows’ Ruling Council on the injustice of the laws that made her and her family outcasts among the Shadows, and which is causing suffering among her friends. Racquel has little time to enjoy her victory. Micah, an innocent subjected to experiments by Cerelia and now the only other person in the world like Racquel, is summoned to appear before the Ruling Council to be examined. The Council has already warned that if Micah is deemed to be “unclean” and a threat to the Shadows, he will be executed. And there are agendas hidden in agendas, as well. A secret faction wants to challenge Racquel, who they still see as being an unclean creature due to her mixed-Shadow heritage. Worse still, the mysterious prophecy made by Kaya, queen of the Fay, is about to become true, and Racquel is about to be faced with her deepest fear: that she is still unwelcome in the world. Betrayed trust and a new danger to the Shadow world are waiting for Racquel, and in the end, she may have to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save the world and her friends from destruction. Red & Copper Fall Glam Makeup - The Brock BlogThis post includes affiliate links Okay y’all, I am finally going to be sharing a makeup look on here. I have been wanting to do this for quite sometime but have never really had the look to share, so to speak. I love doing fall makeup. Playing with golds, reds, and coppers are honestly some of my favorite things to do and I guess you could say my safe zone. To be completely honest with you, as I was doing this look I didn’t really think about wanting to post it until it was finished so sorry about not having many during the process pictures. So Enjoy!!!! That all being said this look will have all of those tones plus a fierce-ish liner and some falsies that slay, as well as a classic lippie that you can rock year round. This look features items from Tarte Cosmetics, Tash Cosmetics, Prestige Cosmetics, Ardell Lashes, and Kat Von D. Since this is my first beauty blog post that goes into detail on the look of it all I will do my best to explain what I did. Meaning I won’t really be able to tell you what brush I used cause I don’t own all these fancy Mac or Morphe brushes with names… I own amazon brushes that are cute, but I will do my best. If anything I will include the brush that I use in the image I share. So I’m that weirdo who does her foundation and brows before doing her shadow look and once that is done I finish the rest of my face… I don’t know why, it is just how I have always done it. Ok so on with how I created this look! First thing I did was conceal and prime my eyes with Urban Decay’s Primer Potion in the shade Minor Sin. I love this shade because it add a little bit of glam to the base of your look! After I apply Minor Sin to my lids I let it set a few moments then apply a base shadow. For most of my looks… if not all… I use the shade Flower Child from the Tartelette In Bloom palette. The reason I use this shade for my base is because it is PERFECT nude tone to give my eyes a clean canvas that doesn’t show my dark raccoon like circles. I apply this shadow all over the lid and in the crease so I can build later. Once I have prepared my canvas… er.. well, eyelid for this look. I take my newest shadow and honestly the reason for this entire look, Tash Cosmetics loose pigment in the shade The Devil Wears Prada, and apply it to my crease as well as the inner corner of my eye. Keep in mind that this is a VERY pigmented red so I highly recommend applying a little at a time and building it up so that it is that perfect shade of red and not too overpowering for this fall look. Don’t worry, we will have an overpowering red look as winter approaches CAUSE CHRISTMAS!! I used a fluffy brush to apply this color and found that it applied it evenly and was very easy to blend. Next, using a slightly smaller brush I applied the shade Warmth from the Tartelette Toasted palette lower in my crease so that I could begin to create beautiful fall tones while keeping the red vibrant and visible higher on my eye. Once my crease looked like the perfect transition of red to burnt orange/copper using a small brush… idk the name of it… I applied the shade Cozy from the Tartelette Toasted palette to the outer corner of my eye to add a little bit of a smoky look to the outside. Now onto my lid! One thing you will learn about me is I am all about using sparkly shade to glam up my matte looks. Using a flat brush to push the shade onto my lid instead of brush it on I applied the shade Flame from the Tartlette Toasted palette until my lid was coppery and shiny. Please keep in mind to blend so you don’t have any harsh lines because trust me… ya girl didn’t blend for the longest time and it. was. a. nightmare. I hate looking back on picture because of that. So please for the love of all things beauty with this look… BLEND. The last thing I did shadow-wise for now was, I applied the shade Sunset from the Tartelette Toasted palette to the inner corner of my eye to give the look a little bit of gold and light! I also applied this shade to my brow bone as well Next I added Prestige Cosmetics Vinyl Liquid Liner in Black on my upper lash line to create a simple wing. Honestly you go as dramatic or minimal with the wing as you want. I swear some days my wings will be larger that the angels in heaven, some days they will dainty or non existent, and rarely are they the perfect balance. Now, my lower lash line is a combination of The Devil Wears Prada and Flame. Using a liner brush I applied The Devil Wears Prada half way across my lower lash line and then applied Flame on the other half. I did blend so that it wasn’t a harsh transition but you can go as harsh and as smoky as you want with this. The last thing I did for this look was curl my lashes, apply a little bit of Two Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara, and then apply some dramatic false lashes to complete the look. I absolutely love makeup but have neglected it because of my health. I can’t wait to share more looks with y’all though! What is your favorite thing about makeup?
