The Sri Lankan junglefowl, also called the Ceylon junglefowl, is one of four extant species of wild junglefowl. Sri Lankan junglefowl males have colorful plumage, red combs with yellow centers and long leg spurs. Females have dull brown plumage, ideal camouflage for a ground nesting bird.
