Today is #WorldChocolateDay. Here is an illustration of a woman frothing chocolate from the Florentine Codex, a 16th-century Nahuatl-Spanish encyclopedia. Central Mexican Nahuas drank it unsweetened, and would froth the beverage by pouring the drink from one vessel to another.
